Nursing Team Leader

#### We are looking to appoint a Nursing Team Leader to support, motivate and mentor our Inpatient Unit Team here at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk].

Who are we and what do we do?

We are [Employer hidden], the Hospice for North Hertfordshire. We are a multi award-winning hospice that puts the patient at the heart of everything we do. Patients on our inpatient unit are looked after by our specialist team 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We provide support and care to patients with a wide range of symptoms associated with a life-limiting illness, as well as their families. We support our patients by providing symptom control, psychological support and end of life care. Our high nurse-to-patient ratio ensures that patients are able to get the dedicated support that they might need.

#### What does the Nursing Team Leader role involve?

You will support the Inpatient Unit Manager to ensure optimum care standards for patients and their families. You will be a Registered Nurse with NMC Registration, supporting and overseeing nurses, AP’s, NA’s and HCA’s as well as student nurses to deliver direct and indirect care. You will be compassionate with a good understanding of the needs of patients living with life limiting illness and their loved ones.
