- Healthcare Assistant - Location: Wigan, WN5 - Pay Rate: £14.00 - £17.50 Per hour - Shifts: Part-Time | Days & Sleeping Nights | Variety of shift patterns available

Applicants must be flexible to work a range of shifts, including both day and night shifts.

Job description

We have a rewarding opportunity for dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join a supportive care team, providing 1:1 and 2:1 care for a lady with complex needs in her family home. Your role will involve supporting her: At home (day and night shifts), Within her educational setting, During respite stays. You’ll deliver high-quality clinical and personal care while creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment. This role is about more than care, you’ll also build a meaningful connection, supporting her to enjoy the things she loves, including: Singing, Baking, Watching TV, Disney. This is your chance to make a genuine difference in someone’s life every day.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 months’ care experience
  • Confident with medication, personal care, and Moving & Handling
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • A valid driving licence to drive the client’s mobility vehicle
  • A compassionate and reliable approach
