Are you a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, who can work well independently? This could be the role for you!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Void Surveyor to join our MoD Housing Team working across various locations in Hampshire including Winchester, Andover and Hook. You will be required to conduct surveys on vacant Properties assessing the condition and identifying any necessary repairs or maintenance work. We are ideally looking for someone with knowledge of construction and quality assurance, but training can be provided so if you have a keen eye for detail and have a construction background, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify repairs and maintenance works in void properties
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure properties are prepared to the required move in standard
- Prepare and communicate detailed reports on audit findings
- Monitor the progress of work, providing regular updates to clients and managers
What are we looking for?
- Construction background / knowledge
- Building surveying experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pass security clearance
