Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Key Stage 1 curriculum objectives.
  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
  • Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and good conduct.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practice.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians to support pupil development.

About You

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in education or a related field.
  • Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, demonstrating a clear understanding of the curriculum.
  • Exhibit a genuine passion for primary education and a commitment to pupil well-being and progress.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational abilities and a proactive approach to classroom management.
