FULL DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, covering various subjects.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all pupils.
  • Plan and prepare stimulating activities that support pupil attainment and curiosity during PPA cover.
  • Assess pupil progress informally, providing feedback to class teachers to ensure learning continuity.
  • Collaborate effectively with year group teams and other staff members to maintain a cohesive educational provision.
  • Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.

About You

  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate recent experience within a primary school setting.
  • Exhibit strong classroom management skills, capable of inspiring and engaging pupils across different age groups.
  • Display adaptability and confidence in teaching a broad curriculum to children from Early Years through Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for fostering pupil development and creating enriching learning experiences.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, pupils, and parents.
  • Be proactive, organised, and committed to upholding the highest professional standards in education.
