Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative and challenging Maths lessons across the secondary curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of an engaging Maths curriculum.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all learners thrive.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Maths department and wider school community.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities or school events that enrich student experience.

About You

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Possess demonstrable experience teaching Maths at secondary level, or be an enthusiastic ECT.
  • Exhibit a genuine passion for mathematics and a commitment to inspiring young minds.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a positive approach to pupil behaviour.
  • Have a strong understanding of current educational practices and curriculum requirements.
  • Be a collaborative team player with effective communication skills and a proactive attitude.
