Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and challenging Maths lessons across the secondary curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of an engaging Maths curriculum.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all learners thrive.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Maths department and wider school community.
- Participate in extracurricular activities or school events that enrich student experience.
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Possess demonstrable experience teaching Maths at secondary level, or be an enthusiastic ECT.
- Exhibit a genuine passion for mathematics and a commitment to inspiring young minds.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a positive approach to pupil behaviour.
- Have a strong understanding of current educational practices and curriculum requirements.
- Be a collaborative team player with effective communication skills and a proactive attitude.
