Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality mathematics lessons across the secondary curriculum.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning and achievement.
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and attainment.
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK with a specialism in Mathematics.
- Possess a genuine passion for teaching mathematics and inspiring young people.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction effectively.
- Be committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
- Have the ability to build strong rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Bring enthusiasm and a proactive approach to all aspects of school life, regardless of career stage (ECT, MPS, UPS).
