Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various primary year groups, skilfully adapting to diverse learning needs.
  • Ensure consistent curriculum coverage and academic progression during planned and unplanned teacher absences.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all pupils.
  • Collaborate positively with teaching assistants and other support staff to enhance pupil engagement and progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance and active participation during your sessions.
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback on pupil performance to class teachers, supporting holistic development.

About You

  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience across the full primary curriculum.
  • Exhibit exceptional classroom management skills, promoting a focused and productive learning space.
  • Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach, thriving in varied and fast-paced teaching environments.
  • Hold a genuine passion for inspiring young minds across Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive rapport with pupils and staff alike.
