About the Role
A progressive school is seeking a dedicated PPA Teacher to join its vibrant primary team. This pivotal role involves providing essential general PPA cover across all primary year groups, from Early Years Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 2, ensuring continuity of learning and a consistent educational experience for all pupils. You will play a crucial part in supporting the excellent work of class teachers, allowing them dedicated time for planning and professional development within a mainstream setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-differentiated lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour to foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with class teachers to ensure seamless curriculum delivery.
- Assess pupil progress informally and provide feedback where appropriate.
- Adapt teaching styles and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
- Contribute positively to the wider school community.
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Possess demonstrable experience teaching across various primary year groups.
- Show a genuine passion for inspiring young learners.
- Exhibit excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Be adaptable and flexible to meet the varying demands of a PPA role.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.
