Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons across the secondary key stages.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes student progress and enthusiasm.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student attainment and progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a diverse and engaging MFL curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives, supporting collaborative practice.
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement within your classroom and across the school.

About You

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Possess a strong academic background in French and Spanish, with the ability to teach both up to Key Stage 4.
  • Demonstrate a passion for language education and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
  • Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking a supportive start, or an experienced teacher (MPS/UPS) looking for progression.
  • Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
