SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

Join a welcoming primary school in Telford as an SEN Teaching Assistant. In this rewarding role, you will work one-to-one with pupils requiring additional support, helping to foster their academic and personal growth within a mainstream classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated support to a pupil with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of personalised learning programmes.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and SEN coordinators to implement effective teaching strategies.
• Monitor and report on the pupil’s progress to ensure they achieve their full potential.
• Promote an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.

About You:

• Experience working in SEN or care-based roles.
• Empathetic and patient, with a genuine interest in supporting pupils with SEN.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of pupils.
• A proactive and positive approach to engaging with young learners.
