Key Responsibilities

  • Implement established behaviour management policies consistently to maintain a calm and focused learning atmosphere.
  • Respond effectively to student queries and provide appropriate support to facilitate understanding of lesson content.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils in your care, adhering to safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • Collect completed work and resources, ensuring an organised handover for the returning teacher.
  • Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.

About You

  • Demonstrable experience of working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport quickly.
  • Exhibit strong behaviour management techniques and the ability to command respect within a classroom.
  • Highly adaptable and resilient, comfortable working across different age groups and subject areas.
  • Proactive and organised, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of pupil engagement.
