Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to EYFS children, both individually and in small groups, to enhance their learning and development.
- Assist the class teacher in the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities across all areas of the early years curriculum.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing valuable feedback to the teacher to inform future planning.
- Support the implementation of school policies and procedures, with a particular focus on safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
About You
- Possess a genuine passion for working with young children and an understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles.
- Hold relevant qualifications or experience working in an early years setting.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with children, colleagues, and parents.
- Exhibit a patient, nurturing, and creative approach to supporting children's learning and emotional development.
- Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Show a commitment to continuous professional development and contributing positively to the school community.
