Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons across the secondary curriculum.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to facilitate learning.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and curiosity.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater for diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate effectively with departmental colleagues to enhance the Science provision.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or initiatives.
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in a Science discipline.
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for Science and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
- Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students effectively.
- Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking a supportive start, or an experienced practitioner (MPS/UPS).
- Possess a collaborative spirit, eager to contribute to a thriving departmental team.
- Show a proactive approach to continuous professional development and educational innovation.
