About the Role
Within a supportive school community, we are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to play a pivotal role in nurturing our youngest learners. We are considering candidates for various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, and permanent positions, with an immediate start available for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities.
- Assist with the daily care routines, including meal times and personal hygiene.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe and report on children’s progress and well-being.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of engaging play experiences.
About You
- Hold relevant experience working with young children in an early years setting.
- Possess a genuine passion for child development and early years education.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are patient, enthusiastic, and highly organised.
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Can work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
