Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, both individually and in small groups.
- Assist class teachers in adapting learning materials and activities to meet diverse pupil requirements.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular reviews and individual education plans.
- Support positive behaviour management strategies, promoting a calm and focused learning environment.
- Facilitate social inclusion, encouraging pupils to participate fully in school life and interact with peers.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
About You
- Possess previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, ideally within a primary school setting.
- Demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting pupils' diverse learning journeys.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Show a proactive and adaptable nature, capable of responding to varying pupil needs and classroom dynamics.
