Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Create and maintain a stimulating, safe, and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the Science curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment programmes related to Science.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student achievement and well-being.

About You

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Possess a strong academic background and expertise in Science, with the ability to teach across different specialisms.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for your subject and a commitment to inspiring young people.
  • Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a student-centred approach to teaching.
  • Be a reflective practitioner keen on continuous professional development.
  • ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, alongside experienced teachers (MPS/UPS).
