Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Computing curriculum, ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and implement stimulating schemes of work that challenge and excite learners at various key stages.
  • Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, participating in departmental meetings and enrichment activities.
  • Maintain a well-organised and stimulating classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where all pupils feel valued and encouraged to explore.

About You

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in Computing or a related subject.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for Computing and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Possess the ability to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities, from novice learners to budding programmers.
  • Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Be a collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and a desire to contribute to school life.
  • Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced Teachers on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
