Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inspiring Biology lessons across the secondary key stages, ensuring high levels of student engagement and progress.
• Develop and implement a stimulating curriculum that challenges students and cultivates a deep understanding of scientific principles.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student attainment and progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual growth.
• Contribute effectively to the broader Science department, collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning strategies.

About You

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline.
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in Biology, with the ability to teach Chemistry effectively to secondary students.
• Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking a supportive induction, or an experienced teacher (MPS/UPS) looking for a new challenge.
• Possess excellent classroom management skills and a proven track record of fostering student progress.
• Exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for science education and a commitment to nurturing intellectual curiosity.
