Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across the curriculum to diverse abilities.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and inspiring.
- Participate in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives to enhance educational provision.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behaviour.
About You
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Science-related subject.
- Demonstrate a passion for Science and an ability to convey complex ideas clearly and enthusiastically.
- Have experience teaching Science at secondary level (ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, as are MPS and UPS candidates).
- Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student welfare.
- Be a collaborative team player with a proactive approach to professional development.
