Key Responsibilities
- Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with diverse SEN.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans and Education, Health and Care Plans.
- Employ positive behaviour management strategies to promote a calm and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate effectively with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
- Adapt and prepare learning resources to meet varying student needs and abilities.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to assessment and review processes.
About You
- Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs in a primary setting.
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact on young learners' development.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Demonstrates resilience, patience, and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Possesses a strong understanding of various SEN conditions and effective support strategies.
- Holds relevant qualifications or training in supporting pupils with special educational needs.
