Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of young children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning and development.
- Help to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.
- Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and support.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and resource-rich nursery setting.
- Observe and report on children's progress and needs to the lead nursery staff.
About You
- Possess a genuine passion for early years education and supporting children's growth.
- Have relevant experience working with young children, ideally within a nursery setting.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport effortlessly.
- Be reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years (desired but not essential if experience is strong).
- Show a proactive approach to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
