Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic and engaging Design and Technology lessons across the secondary curriculum.
- Inspire students to explore, design, and create, fostering a passion for the subject.
- Plan and prepare diverse learning resources that challenge and support all abilities.
- Assess student work meticulously, providing constructive feedback to aid progression.
- Actively contribute to a stimulating and organised classroom and workshop environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance departmental initiatives and share best practices.
About You
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable expertise in Design and Technology.
- Exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to student achievement.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a positive approach to behaviour.
- Have a proactive attitude towards professional development and a desire to refine your craft.
- Be an excellent communicator, capable of building strong rapport with students, staff, and parents.
