We are actively seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to contribute to an inclusive learning environment, fostering academic progress and personal growth for children across the primary phase. This dynamic role offers flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an attractive daily rate of £95 - £110, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse SEN requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and pupil support plans.
- Collaborate closely with class teachers and the SENCo to monitor pupil progress effectively.
- Facilitate a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all children.
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and communication development throughout the school day.
- Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual pupil needs.
About You
- Possess a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
- Demonstrate previous experience working with primary-aged pupils, ideally within an SEN capacity.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils and colleagues.
- Show a proactive and adaptable approach to different learning challenges.
- Hold relevant qualifications or training in supporting pupils with SEN.
- Be committed to fostering an an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
