About the Role:
Join a dedicated team in a renowned SEN setting in Shropshire as a full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher. This role requires a passionate educator to provide tailored learning experiences five days a week, with responsibilities extending to lesson planning and delivery to meet each student’s unique needs. You will play a vital role in fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualised education programmes for SEN students.
- Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to optimise support for each student.
- Engage with parents and carers to provide regular updates on student progress.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience working with SEN or Primary children is required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with students of varying abilities.
- A compassionate approach and dedication to improving student outcomes.
- Well-organised with the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.
