Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain focused and on task.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour, upholding the school’s high standards for conduct and respect.
  • Deliver pre-prepared work to pupils, explaining instructions clearly and facilitating independent study.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive learning environment conducive to pupil progress.
  • Provide general assistance and guidance to pupils regarding their learning activities.
  • Report any significant issues, incidents, or achievements to the appropriate member of staff.

  • You possess demonstrable experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
