About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Engineering professional to lead the Engineering Department at a thriving mainstream secondary school in Banbury, Oxfordshire. This temporary role is set to commence in September and offers a competitive salary paid to scale, including a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Engineering Department, ensuring high standards of teaching and student achievement.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the department to align with school objectives.
• Support and mentor departmental staff, fostering a collaborative and positive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess teaching practices, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the implementation of innovative teaching strategies.
