Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated one-to-one and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs.
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and differentiated learning activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging pupil engagement and progress.
- Collaborate effectively with class teachers, the SENCO, and other professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
- Support pupils' social and emotional well-being, promoting positive behaviour and self-esteem.
About You
- Possess prior experience supporting children with special educational needs within a primary school setting.
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for making a positive difference to children's learning and development.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Show a proactive and adaptable approach, responding effectively to diverse pupil requirements.
- Hold relevant qualifications or professional development in supporting SEN pupils.
- Be patient, empathetic, and resilient, committed to fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
