Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in the delivery of engaging lessons and educational activities.
- Provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups, fostering their learning and independence.
- Help create and maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment for all children.
- Prepare and organise resources to support learning activities across the curriculum.
- Support pupils with special educational needs, adapting approaches as required to meet their specific requirements.
- Promote positive behaviour and social development, encouraging pupils to interact respectfully and constructively.
About You
- Proven experience working with children in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's academic and personal growth and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, pupils, and parents.
- Ability to be adaptable, proactive, and resilient within a dynamic school environment.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
- Possession of relevant teaching assistant qualifications or a willingness to pursue further training would be beneficial.
