Key Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging and challenging Design Technology lessons across the secondary curriculum.
- Developing creative and practical projects that inspire student innovation.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or departmental initiatives.
- Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and enhance curriculum delivery.
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Possess a strong passion for Design Technology and its practical application.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
- Be committed to continuous professional development and contributing to a team.
- Show a genuine desire to make a positive impact on student learning and well-being.
- Have experience teaching Design Technology at secondary level, or be an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to embark on this journey.
