Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Physics curriculum, including post-16 study.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel empowered to learn.
- Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of departmental resources and schemes of work.
- Participate actively in school life, including extra-curricular activities and pupil support initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance, achievement, and behaviour.
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Possess a strong academic background in Physics, with the ability to teach Chemistry to at least Key Stage 4.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of effective teaching and raising pupil attainment.
- Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to pupil welfare.
