Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver stimulating Science lessons across the secondary curriculum.
  • Assess pupil progress effectively, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science department's schemes of work.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities or clubs related to Science, if appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance, achievement, and behaviour.

About You

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Possess a strong academic background in Science, with the ability to teach across disciplines. Demonstrate a genuine passion for inspiring young people to achieve their full potential. Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to pupil well-being. Be adaptable, resilient, and eager to collaborate within a dedicated team. Whether an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced professional (MPS/UPS), you will be keen to make a significant impact.
