About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Physics lessons across all secondary key stages, incorporating a Chemistry specialism.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and challenged.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative Science curriculum.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives.
- Support students through extra-curricular activities related to science where appropriate.
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline.
- Demonstrate a strong subject knowledge in Physics, complemented by a specialism in Chemistry.
- Be an inspiring and enthusiastic educator, dedicated to student achievement and wellbeing.
- Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate learning for diverse abilities.
- Be a collaborative team player, keen to contribute positively to a supportive departmental culture.
