Key Responsibilities

  • Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities and play-based experiences.
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing and maintaining a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their individual learning journeys.
  • Foster positive behaviour and social interactions, promoting a sense of belonging for all pupils.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive child support.
  • Undertake pastoral duties, offering care and encouragement to young children throughout the school day.

About You

  • A genuine passion for Early Years education and supporting the development of young children.
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with children and adults.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and patient approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
