Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective classroom support, assisting the class teacher in daily lessons and activities.
  • Work with individual pupils or small groups, tailoring support to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement, helping to maintain a stimulating and orderly classroom environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom displays to enhance pupil understanding.
  • Support pupils during transitions, break times, and extra-curricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to pupil development.

About You

  • Possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged children in their educational journey.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, pupils, and parents.
  • Show initiative and adaptability, thriving in a dynamic and supportive school setting.
  • Have experience working with children, ideally within a primary school environment.
