Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare innovative schemes of work, ensuring curriculum breadth and depth.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Cultivate a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages scientific inquiry.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the overall departmental provision.
  • Participate fully in the school's wider co-curricular programme and professional development.

About You

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Possess the ability to teach Science effectively across the secondary age range, regardless of your specialism.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering every student's academic and personal growth.
  • Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a positive approach to student engagement.
  • Be a passionate advocate for Science, capable of inspiring curiosity and critical thinking.
