#### Key Post Responsibilities

The Electrical PM will lead the delivery of electrical works across [Employer hidden]’s turnkey material handling projects. You will take projects from planning, through the design process, installation, commissioning and handover. You will coordinate the electrical subcontract and direct resource packages alongside mechanical and civils works, manage suppliers and subcontractors, and keep safety, programme and commercial controls under close review.

#### In this role you will focus on

• Lead end to end delivery of electrical packages for bulk material handling, industrial and heavy engineering projects
• Deliver works using a mix of [Employer hidden] direct labour and subcontractor packages, coordinating both so the electrical scope is planned, resourced, installed, tested and handed over safely and on programme
• Manage design integration with mechanical and civils teams and challenge solutions for safety, buildability, cost and energy efficiency
• Own procurement, logistics and site coordination for the electrical scope
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams so delivery is safe, coordinated and efficient
• Track progress against programme and put recovery plans in place when required
• Manage budgets and variations with early identification of risks to cost, schedule and scope
• Embed health and safety excellence on site including control of energisation activities
• Coordinate commissioning plans and support integration through to handover
• Chair client and stakeholder meetings and give clear reporting on progress, risks and actions
• Capture lessons learnt and feed them back into how [Employer hidden] delivers future projects.

#### What you bring

• Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or similar, or equivalent industry experience
• Strong experience delivering electrical projects in industrial or material handling environments
• Good working understanding of electrical distribution, automation and commissioning
• Proven ability to manage multiple packages, disciplines and interfaces
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets, contracts and change
• Clear communication and leadership skills, comfortable managing subcontractors and client teams
• Competent with Microsoft Project or similar planning and reporting tools
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK

#### What will make you stand out

• Direct experience of quarrying, aggregates, or comparable heavy industrial material handling
• Experience integrating electrical works with erection and follow on trades
• Confident use of recognised project management methods
• Electrical design and build background including hands on experience
• SMSTS or minimum SSSTS
• IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH or equivalent
• NVQ Level 6 or Level 7 in Construction Site Management, Project Management or a related discipline
• APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management qualification
• CDM awareness or formal CDM training
