Senior or Principle Electrical Design Engineer

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are working exclusively with a fast growing, modern and dynamic MEP end stage (Stage 5) construction design business, delivering fully coordinated, build ready solutions using advanced 3D design methods! This business are genuinely at the forefront of what they do... not just in design delivery, but in how they operate. They utilise their own on-site scanning technology and work closely with major retail clients including John Lewis, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and more, giving their engineers real exposure to high impact, live projects. This Senior or Principle Electrical Design Engineer role is client facing and influential, with the opportunity to act as a key figure within a tight knit, ambitious team.

What we’re looking for in the new Electrical Design Engineer:

  • Proven Stage 5 electrical design experience
  • Familiar with Revit and fully capable of using Relux, Dialux, and AMtech
  • Strong UK building services knowledge
  • Ability to attend site visits as required
  • Must hold a valid passport and UK driving licence

The day to day of the new Electrical Design Engineer:

  • Deliver electrical designs to Stage 5 construction-ready standard
  • Produce coordinated 3D / Revit-based design packages
  • Lead electrical coordination within project teams
  • Conduct site surveys to inform design
  • Attend construction sites to verify installation and compliance
  • Liaise with contractors, architects, and stakeholders
