We’re looking for an experienced Director of Game Math Design to drive innovation and excellence in mathematical game design for our PlayDigital division.

Overview

Hiring location: Poland, Serbia, Romania, Malta, UK, Spain, Austria, US Employment type: Full-time position through employment contract. ✅ Requirement: Candidates must be fully eligible to work full-time under a local employment contract. Work setup: Remote or hybrid, connected to the local entity.

At [Employer hidden] PlayDigital, we design and build mobile and web casino games played by millions of players worldwide. We’re looking for an experienced Director of Game Math Design to drive innovation and excellence in mathematical game design for our PlayDigital division.

What You Will Do

As Game Mathematics Director, you will define and elevate mathematical standards across all PlayDigital studios, ensuring high-performing and competitive game mechanics. This is a cross-functional, influence-driven role where you will guide math leads without direct team management, shaping the quality and consistency of mathematical implementation across both conversion and digital-first games.

  • Define and standardize mathematical frameworks and best practices across all studios
  • Provide guidance and alignment to math and discipline leads without direct line management
  • Oversee mathematical implementation in both conversion and digital-first game development
  • Collaborate closely with GDK teams to ensure alignment between math models and platform capabilities
  • Establish standards for tools used by mathematicians and contribute to their development
  • Monitor market trends and competitor products to ensure game math remains competitive and innovative
  • Ensure learnings from the market are effectively translated into game performance and player engagement

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in the gaming industry (online or land-based)
  • Experience in lead or consulting roles within game mathematics or similar disciplines
  • Strong understanding of game math design, implementation, and performance drivers
  • Ability to influence and align multiple teams without direct authority
  • Analytical mindset with a strong awareness of market trends and competitive landscape
