Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Special Requirements:

• To assess clients referred to the service. To utilize specialist assessments when presented with complex cases. To make decisions on the level of treatment intervention required To undertake treatment planning, communicating and negotiating treatment plans and clinical reasoning for intervention with clients and their carers. • You will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services; providing a 7-day a week day service.
• Produce accurate and timely documentation, conduct and manage the maintenance of accurate and timely documentation/records on all service users in line with your professional code of conduct and Trust policy.
• Conduct and oversee physical health care checks and act upon the findings.
• You will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services; providing a 7-day a week, 24-hours a day service for 365 days a year working shifts, where appropriate and operationally required.
