Health and Social Care Assessor – Level 5 (4-day week)
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills & Employability sectors. The role is for a Health and Social Care Assessor – Level 5 (4-day week). The location is Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel across Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. The salary is £30,000 (take home salary, not pro rata!).
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
- Experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care, Levels 2-5, having supported learners through to Gateway and End Point Assessment.
- Must have worked as a Manager within a Care Home or Dom Care setting.
- Must have a good level of ICT skills
- Confident to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
- Happy to conduct online remote assessments – and face to face when required
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5, including Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
