LIVE-IN/OUT CHAUFFEUR
A warm and welcoming family based near Miserden, Gloucestershire, is seeking a dependable, professional full-time driver to support their daily transport needs. This is a long-term opportunity ideally suited to an experienced chauffeur or private driver with a flexible and proactive approach.
Role Overview:
The primary duties will involve local driving within Stroud, Kemble, and Cheltenham. This includes daily school runs, train station drop-offs, and occasional family errands. The role requires a 7:30 AM start, with driving needed 5 days per week, typically Monday to Friday. There may also be some weekend driving, with advance notice. A weekly schedule is usually confirmed on Sundays.
The family has two school-aged children (12 and 14). One attends a day school, and the other is a flexi-boarder and returns home once a week. A parent is always present in the car when the children are on board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily school drop-offs and collections
- Driving to/from local train stations and appointments
- Occasional weekend driving (with flexibility)
- Light ad hoc driving duties as needed
- Liaising with the family for weekly scheduling
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean record
- Prior experience as a chauffeur preferred
- Confident, discreet, and reliable
- Flexible, punctual, and child-friendly
- Familiarity with the Gloucestershire area beneficial
Accommodation (if required):
A charming private cottage on the familys estate is available for the successful candidate, should they require live-in arrangements.
