FULL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a trustworthy, self-motivated, and discreet live-in domestic support person to assist with the smooth running of a private household in the Cotswolds. This position is focused on household management, light cooking, tidying, errands, general assistance and companionship for the owner who has been recently widowed.

Key Responsibilities:

Very small amount of general housekeeping (cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing)
Lunch and dinner meal planning, preparation and cooking
Receiving deliveries as needed
Contributing to a clean, organised, and welcoming home environment
Occasional pet care – owner has three dogs

Working Hours & Benefits:

To be adjusted weekly as needed, maximum 5 hrs per day x 6 days
Rent-free private accommodation with WiFi
Full board, no bills (all meals included)
Use of 160 acres of scenic grounds
Easy access to beautiful walks and local countryside

25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Walking distance (1 mile) to small village with two pubs, grocery store and newsagents.

Ideal Candidate:

Likes horses and dogs
Experience in a similar domestic or housekeeping role or a relevant personal background
Trustworthy, discreet, and high standards of personal presentation
Friendly, flexible, and able to work independently
Able to maintain privacy and discretion at all times
Valid UK driving license an asset but not a requirement
Fluent in English
Ideally some use for free time at home like working from home or education on line, or something similar that would use time not doing duties.
