Who Does This Role Report Into? Senior Building Manager

Role Summary /  Purpose and Scope
The Assistant Building Manager functions as the front line for [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] assisting in all aspects of service delivery, supporting the Building Manager and Senior Management team at Eighty Strand. 

The Assistant Building Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of management, maintenance and service are being maintained with a focus on the management of hard & Soft services & contractors, and occupier engagement.

  • Monitoring statutory and internal compliance, instructing audits, assessments and specialist advice, aligning with service partners for control documents, log books and online management systems which form [Employer hidden]’s control environment including meeting [Employer hidden] policies and procedures, RICS and ISO standards and any statutory and insurance timelines and escalation requirements
  • Engage with occupiers including implementation of Customer Experience frameworks for the building to improve occupier satisfaction and retention, occupier forums and meetings and placemaking and V2 initiatives
  • In partnership with the Sustainability Team, develop and implement sustainability action plans, monitor resource consumption, improve recycling and reduced carbon emissions and waste
  • Assist and complete various reports as well as presenting said reports including Monthly, Quarterly and Management or Ad Hoc adhering to any legislative requirements including sustainability and health and safety
  • Excellent communication, in person, on the phone and in email

  • Complete fire safety checks daily and log centrally maintaining accurate records

  • Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft packages

Experience and Salary

Level of Experience / Certifications:

  • 2 years experience of working in a similar role
  • Qualifications: Health & Safety – IOSH & IWFM is desirable

Working Hours: 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday Salary Range (Based on Experience)
£38,000  - £42,000
per annum, depending on experience.
