Job Description

Working as part of the teaching team, teachers plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences. The work involves effective planning, assessment, and classroom practice, alongside collaboration with colleagues to support school priorities. A strong understanding of safeguarding expectations and inclusive teaching approaches is essential. Plans and delivers engaging curriculum-aligned lessons. Assesses progress and adapts teaching accordingly. Creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Works collaboratively with colleagues and leadership.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/education qualifications.
• Previous experience within a school setting, particularly teaching students in Year 3.
• Passion for creating an environment where every child's unique needs are met.

About the School

Our partnered school is a foundation school for pupils aged 7 to 11 and has a resourced provision for pupils with autistic spectrum disorder. The school has a motto of “Learning together, growing together” and aims to provide a caring, stimulating and inclusive environment for all learners. The school has been rated as good by Ofsted in its latest inspection in 2019. The inspectors praised the leadership, the quality of teaching, the behaviour and attitudes of the pupils, and the personal development and welfare of the learners.
