About the School
This Coventry SEND school serves pupils aged 8–16 with social, emotional, and behavioural needs in a calm, structured environment where relationships come first. Rated Good by Ofsted, it balances firm, consistent routines with compassion and personalised support. Class sizes are small and every learner has a clear plan that focuses on regulation, communication, and re-engagement with learning. The curriculum blends core subjects with tailored life-skills, creative projects, and outdoor learning, so pupils experience success in ways that feel meaningful to them. Staff work as a tight multi-disciplinary team — teachers, pastoral leads, and therapists share strategies daily and celebrate the small steps that become big wins over time. Recent priorities include strengthening attendance, broadening therapeutic interventions, and expanding enrichment so pupils feel connected to the wider community. New colleagues are welcomed with coaching, CPD in trauma-informed and restorative practice, and practical mentoring so you never feel on your own. If you want to join a school that genuinely lives its values — where patient, consistent adults help pupils rebuild confidence and move forward — this is a fantastic place to make a visible difference and grow your career.
