Job Description

During periods of teacher absence, Cover Supervisors ensure pupils remain engaged with set work. Responsibilities include following pre-set lesson plans, managing behaviour, and supporting pupils to remain focused and on task. Confidence, consistency, and clear communication are essential to maintaining a positive learning environment. Supervises lessons using pre-prepared work and guidance. Manages classroom behaviour and engagement. Supports pupils during independent learning tasks. Reports feedback and concerns to teaching staff.
