Job Description

Working as part of the teaching team, teachers plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences. The work involves effective planning, assessment, and classroom practice, alongside collaboration with colleagues to support school priorities. A strong understanding of safeguarding expectations and inclusive teaching approaches is essential. Plans and delivers engaging curriculum-aligned lessons. Assesses progress and adapts teaching accordingly. Creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Works collaboratively with colleagues and leadership.

About the School

This is a community special school that caters for pupils aged 11 to 19 with a range of special educational needs, including moderate learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities and complex medical needs.
