Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistants support learning within the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.

Teaching Assistants support learning within the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities. Provides classroom-based support during lessons. Delivers small group or individual interventions. Supports classroom organisation and resources. Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

- Experience working with primary pupils in a classroom setting - Confident supporting learning across mixed-ability groups - Patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about child development - Relevant TA Level 2 or similar qualification preferred
