Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Working closely with pupils and staff, Teaching Assistants help maintain engagement and progress. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.

Provides classroom-based support during lessons.

Delivers small group or individual interventions.

Supports classroom organisation and resources.

Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities or site‑management, ideally in a school, campus or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, building maintenance and site operations
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills
• Reliable, proactive and flexible — able to work across 5 days (including weekends) as needed
• Professional approach and ability to contribute to a safe, welcoming school environment
